Isle of Wight Building Safety Association

 

Health & Safety legislation is a very broad discipline and one that is difficult to restrict to one particular industry or job without there being any crossover.

Because of this, the Isle of Wight Building Safety Association has over the years pulled experience from different working environments and disciplines to give a wide scope of Health & Safety understanding from a variety of industries.

Add to this the Construction element of Health & Safety and one achieves a well-rounded facility capable of delivering a Professional Health & Safety package, incorporating: Legislative Information, Documentation and Training to the Island’s Construction Industry and associated trades, based here on the Isle of Wight.

 

Who Are We?

Manager / Safety Officer – Mr. Mark Garland.

Has worked in a health & safety role since 1992, with experience in Engineering, Manufacturing / Facilities and Construction background.

 

 

 

Safety & Training Officer – Mr. Mike Leppard

Has worked in a health & safety role since 1989, with experience from Local Authority, Private Sector Health, Safety & Training Consultancy and Construction background.

Has worked in a health & safety role since 1986, with experience from an Aerospace Engineering and Construction background.
